ERIN MOODY- OWNER, RESIDENT CARE MANAGER, PROVIDER, MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER

 

My name is Erin Moody and I graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Dance.  I have worked in geriatrics since 1991. I started out as a geriatric family counselor leading Alzheimer's/Validation groups as well as 1:1 counseling and behavior consultation.  Later I transitioned into long-term care working with the full spectrum of geriatric diagnosis. My area of expertise lies in expert discharge planning, insightful and thorough assessment and treatment of mood, cognitive, behavioral and psychosocial problems with non-pharmaceutical approaches. For the past 20 plus years I have worked as a a medical social worker and have become a trusted professional in the field of geriatrics. Also, I have extensively studied alternative, holistic approaches to health and health care for nearly 8 years. I have a strong belief in these approaches, and considerable knowledge in this area. I have seen that the elderly have very little access to holistic healthcare especially in any type of care setting. My vision is to bring this to them if they or their family desire. I have established an excellent reputation in the geraitric care community due to my integrity, hard work and knowledge.
